IS THAT A PERUVIAN?!!!!!
We hear that question
over and over again about our beautiful select herd sire Crown’s Bay.
CB is the best of the best. He is noticed wherever we take him. He
is full Chilean and as you can see is covered from head to toe with
the most beautiful, luxurious black crimpy fiber with incredible sheen.
He had magnificent conformation and bone and best of all he carries
dominant genes. His sire, Crown Prince was retired ALSA judge Lowell
Frederick’s elite male. Lowell bred selectively for seven years before
he decided to sell any of his progeny. Crown's Bay is an extremely
genetically dominant male and has produced some very fine alpacas.
Lowell agrees that CB is everything he had worked for.
Crown's Bay has collected many blue ribbons
and awards including Reserve Champion at the Western Ohio Triple Crown
in Lewisburg, Ohio and a 3rd Place in the 1st Composite Class in 2000
at the OABA Conference under the critical eye of show judge, Mike
Safley. If you are familiar with composite classes you know that the
shorn animals are judged in the ring on confirmation alone. The results
of their fiber, which is judged separately
can move the placing of that animal either up or down.
True black Crown's Bay received a 3rd in confirmation and a 3rd in
fiber in a class of white/fawn Peruvians and Accoyo's! That speaks
volumes for the quality and presence of this animal.
Crown's Bay is now being made available
for limited breedings to a few select females.
Breeding Fee: $2,500
